The consumption is 5,140,000 tons in 2006, equivalent to fourteen per cent of the world’s total amount.
Palm oil can be used in many fields, in food industry, generally it is be processed into shortening, margarine, hydrogenated palm oil, frying oil, and special fats so on and so forth.
